Crime Policy

criminal handcuffedThe Crime Policy covers stolen parish funds. This includes burglary, robbery, employee theft and forgery. It does not cover personal funds which are stolen.

This coverage carries a limit of $10 million per occurrence and includes the cost of investigation as well as expenses incurred in recovering or pursuing restitution.


The parish has a $2,500 deductible for theft of cash.

Upon notification of a crime loss, the parish should report the matter to the police and the Claims Manager.
